Relaxing in our uniquely handcrafted lodge after a day on the tranquil waters of Rainy Lake is the perfect way to greet the evening. A full kitchen, bar area, allows for easy meal preparation and plenty of dining space for your individual group. In addition to the lodge’s three bedrooms hosting a number of 8 beds, two beachside sleeping cabins are available each with 4 additional beds. A full bathroom and shower are located within the lodge. An enclosed lake-facing porch allows for peaceful enjoyment of the environment in any weather conditions. When staying at Sunny Beach you and your group have all-inclusive access to the entire property including lodge, grounds, sleeping cabins, beach, and boat dock without other guests. We operate it on a housekeeping type arrangement where you bring your own food and prepare your own meals, as well as tidy up on the day of departure. Groups bring their own boats and watercraft which may be launched on site and kept secured to a large rear dock in a protected cove. Fishing licenses can be purchased on the way to the lodge at The Great Bear convenience store. Bait (minnows) can be provided on site with advanced notice. Arrangements can also be made to be picked up on site and guided for a day’s fishing with advanced notice (prices not included for minnows and guided fishing). Relax, for you are in charge of how you spend your days and set your own schedule, giving you the freedom to spend your lake vacation as you wish at Sunny Beach.
